Well...this certainly is NOT...random

Tonight is quite a night. I was studying at school for my Pathophysiology Exam tomorrow and then Avriel called to see if I wanted to go out for dinner tonight. I suggested Sushi Ya, which is a new all you can eat sushi restaurant. He said no...so I said...ok you can pick the place. At 6:30pm, he came to pick me up at school. He had put on a really nice looking shirt so I said, oh no, is it some place nice? I look really casual...is that ok? He said yes, so I didn't think anything of it. We were talking on the way to the restaurant. He was driving towards Riverwoods Mall, so I thought we were going to Macaroni Grill or Magleby's. Then, he drove right pass it and headed towards the Canyons. I thought it was weird. Anyway, he kept driving and turned at Sundance. Then, I realized, we were going to eat at one of the expensive restaurants there. I asked him what's the occasion and he told me to celebrate his birthday in advance before having to celebrate it with everyone around. Also, throughout the dinner, he asked me when I'd have time to go ring shopping. At first, I thought he was going to propose...I mean, with the nice clothes and everything, but after he asked me that...I thought he was just going to do it after he gets the ring with me.
Dinner was expensive. We had this hor d'oeuvre that had watermelon, a leaf of spinach, and a roasted tomato with vinaigrette. Then we had this bread that had nuts and raisins and you dip into the olive oil with these things in it...that we had no clue what it was... Then we had the soup of the day. It was a really huge warm plate/bowl, with only 240 ml of liquid and beans in it. It was good. Then we had our main course. I ordered the black pepper steak with mango chutney. He ordered the boar tenderloin. They were both very very good. The steaks were medium rare and when you put them in your mouth, it just melts. SOOOOOOOooooo good!
After dinner, we walked around like we usually do after dinner, to walk off what we just ate. We crossed over the bridge by the pond and the Sundance screening room. Then he kept looking at me and smiling. Then he said, "I love you" and knelt down and took out a box and asked me to marry him.
The ring is so beautiful! I love it!
Before he proposed, he kept looking at me, smiling.
After he proposed, I was so excited. I kept jumping up and down and almost dropped my phone in the water...hehehhe.
Then, afterwards, I found out he had actually called my parents already. When I called them, they already knew and were all really happy.
I'm really happy too!

General Conference April 07

This talk spoke right to me...Tongue of Angels
It's actually quite hard to reread this talk. I feel such a burden of guilt...but it's a good guilt...if there is such a thing. Sometimes I just need to hear the hard truth to realize I'm not here to "eat, drink, and be merry."

Ye Must be Born Again
This talk reminded me that I can't just be half way immersed in the gospel some of the time. Doing this will only prolong my time here.

From what Avriel was telling me this talk (I Am Clean) gives us hope, and so does Point of Safe Return.

This Day is also calling for repentence. If you think about it, all of the 12 apostles talks has something to do with repentence. Their words seem a lot stronger and piercing than in the past. I can't help to think that the second coming is but a short while. The war is raging. Where do I stand? Am I on the right side?

So...I took this test and I didn't do so bad. But you know what? I can't believe I took the time to do this test...that just shows how bored I am...
